My story with yarn began in 2012, during a tender and life-changing chapter. I was expecting my daughter Emerald - and like many mothers, I found myself craving something calming, something creative, something meaningful. That's when I picked up my very first crochet hook.

At first, I made simple things - tiny baby booties, soft dishcloths, snug little hats. But it didn't take long for crochet to become so much more than a hobby. It became a quiet companion during both beautiful and challenging times. A creative outlet. A space for reflection, and a source of strength.

Since then, my crochet journey has evolved into a collection of handmade treasures that carry a piece of my soul in every stitch. From cozy blankets to charming amigurumi toys, from elegant table runners to the delicate grace of doilies - each item tells a story. A story of patience, love, and care.

But CancerCowsByTina was never just about crafting. It was born from a deeper place - a desire to help, to give back, and bring light to children fighting some of the hardest battles. What began as a small fundraiser to support pediatric cancer patients quickly grew into a heartfelt mission.

These aren't just toys - they're companions. They go with children into hospitals, into treatments, and into everyday life as quiet reminders that someone is cheering them on.
